Position Overview
The HVAC Service Manager oversees the daily operations of the service and maintenance departments while driving revenue growth, employee performance, customer satisfaction, and team development.
This leader will play a key role in shaping company culture, mentoring team members, improving operational performance, and ensuring customers receive the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HVAC service department team
- Monitor daily operations and team performance to achieve revenue goals
- Coach, mentor, and develop technicians and staff members
- Promote a positive, high-performing, customer-focused work environment
- Build strong employee engagement through communication, recognition, and accountability
- Establish and monitor customer satisfaction metrics
- Resolve escalated customer concerns quickly and professionally
- Assist with budgeting, expense management, and operational planning
- Ensure proper staffing levels to support customer demand and seasonal growth
- Conduct team meetings, daily huddles, and one-on-one coaching sessions
- Support business growth through referrals, repeat business, and service excellence
- Uphold and model company values including integrity, professionalism, and teamwork
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of management or leadership experience preferred
- HVAC industry knowledge is a strong plus
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching abilities
- Proven ability to motivate teams and drive performance
- Highly organized with strong multitasking skills
- Customer-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment
